During the VetImpact Pitch Night, investors will provide valuable feedback and advice to veteran entrepreneurs from three companies, helping them refine and improve their ideas and companies. The goal of the event is to prepare veterans to attract the investments necessary to launch and grow their companies. This is the second Pitch Night hosted by VetImpact, and aligns with VetImpact’s goal to mentor and assist veteran entrepreneurs working to build businesses in emerging and frontier markets.

The event will begin with presentations from subject matter experts Jim Hake from Spirit of America and Edwin “Skip” Vincent from Soft Power Solutions LLC. Both experts have extensive experience in business development, entrepreneurship, and civil military cooperation. Following the presentations, emerging veteran businesses Rakassan Tea Company (RTC) and Team Afghan Power (TAP) will pitch their ideas. VetImpact partnered with Deloitte and Georgetown - McDonough School of Business Military Association in January to provide skills-based volunteering projects supporting RTC and TAP. The evening will conclude with a networking social.
